How is Vivace Ultraā¢ RF microneedling different from traditional microneedling?
Traditional microneedling is a process by which a microneedling system creates hundreds of tiny abrasions through the skin. These microabrasions initiate the skinās natural hearing process and the production of collagen and elastin. Collagen and elastin strengthen the affected skin cells which results in smoother, firmer, more radiant skin.
On the other hand, Vivace Ultraā¢ is a radiofrequency (RF) microneedling system which dramatically improves the appearance and texture of your skin with significantly faster results. Three factors unique to Vivace Ultraā¢ help it work faster than other microneedling options. First, integrated RF energy accelerates collagen production and skin tightening. Built-in LED Light therapy minimizes post-treatment redness, too. While we ask patients to wait until the next day before applying makeup, most feel comfortable going out without any makeup. Of course, youāll need to apply broad-spectrum SPF afterĀ microneedlingĀ to protect treated skin from the sun.

Patients with darker skin tones can have a more challenging time finding suitable skin resurfacing treatments, as lasers and peels that remove skin layers can risk permanent pigmentation changes. Vivace induces natural skin resurfacing without using heat or harsh chemicals or removing skin layers, so itās safe for darker skin.
It tightens skin better than other microneedling options.
